The Bertrams Stories Project is an ongoing investigation into how participatory drama might engage with knowledges of the urban every day in Bertrams, Lorentzville and Judith’s Paarl. 

Izithombe 2094 is a play made out of the first ten months of the project to see how these findings might be shared through a piece of theatre as participatory public art. 

It draws from exploratory projects in Braamfontein and Pretoria.
